yes, absolutely: how could we have not mentioned here yet...
languages are "worlds", they describe universes of sense, they represent
cultural biodiversity as different plants represent biodiversity:
monolanguage is like monoculture, in the long therms it destroy the

the cultural heritage I want picture and desire definitively include
even more: it build economy and create welt and jobs on top of it (just
open a little your imagination and you can easly see it)

In the inclusive approach of Salvatore, how do we include the languages ?

oh, fantastic: what a coincidence.

we recently had a conversation with a friend which I think is interesting:
he is a linguist and he works with AI, one of his creature is the Senso
Comune <> project, born to create an "open
linguistic knowledge base" for the Italian language, starting from the
dictionary of Tullio De Mauro (possibly the mosto famous linguist in Italy,
who died in January) .

we are going to open a very hot chapter, here: the knowledge base used for
automatic translation are English based, not only the lexicon, but also the
structure, the syntax. this is a huge huge problem...

the cultural heritage could, indeed, include, curate and protect "open
computational vocabulary", which means something like linguistic opendata
sets which include the participation of speakers for their evolution (the
performers of the language, so the language remain a living organism).

this is only the base: once this common resource exists, tons of cultural
strategies and action - involving artists, scientists, poets, writers,
schools, kids, elderly, cultural institutions... - can be imagined.

you see, one just scratch the surface of a language, and myriads of strata
appears: this is why we always recognized as a priority for Human
Ecosystems to work in as much language as possible...

I believe this type of research could be a fantastic project to put in
place "now", both for the context, the methodology and more generally its

so, addressing language is vital.

I have hard time imagining to get rid of it just calling into question how
"always" predominant languages existed: we are forgetting old good reason
to questioning it, plus one don't put in the equation the algorithmic
mediation we are now confronted with, and which bring us a series of brand
new questions.

I may want to go back on the topic, but it is all for now, thanks Annick!
