barbara mones is working on digital narratives/indigenous cultures

HI Roger,

I also teach at University of Washington in the dxarts program

\

I am doing some interesting work that involves the digital archiving
of story using large databases to help automate the collection and
distribution of narratives that strives to retain an international
translation while capturing the language among the stories of
indigenous cultures who are losing their cultures. The idea is to keep
the cultures alive through their language and stories. The other idea
is to add animation into the mix so that the stories can come alive to
the viewer.

Hope that helps, hope you can stay in touch and hope all is well with you!
