Mailman is a system that has its own protocols for effective use=
a) When you reply to a post- include the message that you are
responding but PLEASE dont send back to the list 30 previous
posts following the one you are replying to !! edit out the prior
messages. Some of you are replying with 30 previous messages
attached.
b) This is a single discussion thread, which means we have interleaved
discussions going= dont reply with one word ! this is not a dialogic
format. Reply with a sentence or paragraph-or since you have the
email address of the sender you can start a back ground chit chat
with the person.
Every medium has its constraints. Delighted to see this topic
has currency.
