Re: [Yasmin_discussions] synesthesia and polysemy

I totally agree. There are big things to be learn from "real" synesthetes.
In the artfield for example, when we listen to Messiaen's compositions we
can perceive his intentions of making a link between sounds and "objects" of
experience. There are powerful capacities of evocation in Messiaen's music
but as he relates a "pure" sound with cultural notions, it can only be his
"own" alchemy . There are differences with other contemporary musicians
much more in the abstraction field. For me this is an interesting field of
study for art critics and cognitiv artists .
