I was discussing a day or so ago by text message with Liliane Lijn two things - her forthcoming birthday on 18th December and also whether she felt she might have time to contribute to this discussion. She said something I really wanted to share (something that reminded me that poetry and poems are timeless even when working with current or past technologies) which was that her Poem Machines were not just science related poetry but 'dissolved text into energy'.
She then added by email that her 'collaboration with Nazli Nour in my earliest Poem Machines created the first kinetic poems, poems not to be read, poems to be felt as bursts of subliminal energy'.
